Replacement Grip Guide
This type of grip is usually the choice of players who want a longer lasting grip. You have a choice of surfaces, and sometimes they are embossed with patterns to help improve your grip on the racquet.
Smooth or Perforated
Some players prefer a perforated grip, as they believe they provide better moisture absorption.
Tacky or Dry
A tacky grip is probably best for dry hands, and a dry surface usually provides more absorption.
Surface Pattern
Some grips have a patterned surface intended to help reduce twisting. Opinions seem to vary about how effective they are.
Cushioned or Thin
A cushioned grip should provide more comfort, and a thinner grip gives you a better feel for the edges of the racquet handle. This is purely a matter of personal preference.
