Racket Guide - Frame Profile

You should have read the Racket Features Page, and would now like some further details about the Frame Profile (width) of a racket.

A racket that has a wider frame is stiffer. This generates more power. A thinner frame is more flexible and gives more control. Measure the width of your racket and use the table to show you the power and control factors.

This should help you select a suitable racket. For extra power select a wider racket and for more control use a thinner frame.

Useful Hint

Power and Control are also influenced by the stiffness of a racket.

Players who want more power will probably find a stiffer racket better.
