Tennis Racket Guide - Grip Size You should have read the Racket Features page and would now like some further details about the grip sizes of a racket.
Most rackets will be marked G3, G4 or Grip 3, Grip 4 or something similar. Each size is shown in the table.
Simply measure the distance round the grip with a tape measure and you have the size of your grip. |
Useful Information Grip sizes are measured in eighths of inches.
A grip size 3 (G3) would be four and three eighths inches.
The next size is 4 (G4) which is one eighth of an inch larger at four and a half inches. |
