| String Brand Guide How many brands of tennis strings are there? I doubt that anyone will know the answer to this question, but there are many more than most players realise. This guide to string brands is designed to help you select a few brands from the many that are available.
There are two main types of string brands. There are those from the specialist string manufacturers and others from the racket companies. There are advantages and disadvantages with both types. | Selection Hint You need a string that offers you the best value. Racket Brands The best known of these will probably be Head, Prince and Wilson, but there are others. They are not manufactured by the companies, but they are usually good quality and offer a selection of different types.
